You don't need to arrive with a perfect brief. Tell us what you're building and what doesn't feel resolved yet.

How should we respond?
A creative and strategic partner for brands in motion
Synapse
Where brands find their nerve.
Connecting what a brand means with everything it does. Restaurants, bars and cafés are where it started — not where it stops.
Recently: Seahorse, Pune — 80+ dishes named, three coastal kitchens, one voice. Read the story →

Unrelated fragments, moving slowly into alignment.
The missing connection was always the real problem — not the pieces.

What a brand actually isA hundred small decisions, pretending to be one idea.
The quiet cost of doing everything right

You hired talent. Talent is not the same as a spine.

Your designer builds a mood board that's never once stood in the room after midnight.
Your social manager writes "vibes" because nobody gave them a sharper word.
Your PR contact pitches a story that isn't yours — it's the template's.
Your regulars can feel the seams. They just don't have language for it yet.
Not a branding studio Not a content agency Not a nightlife promoter Not a one-category consultancy

Synapse is the discipline standing between your instinct and the internet's need to flatten it.

01A product with the right specs and the wrong personality.
02Packaging that costs premium and reads discount.
03A founder's vision, diluted one handoff at a time.
04A campaign pulling in the wrong crowd, loudly.
05A digital identity that quietly lies about the physical room.
06One decision that changes language, design, space and behaviour — all at once.
One decision, two realities

What you meant. What they felt.

Drag to see the gap Synapse gets hired to close.

What the founder meant

"Premium, minimal, quietly confident. It should feel considered."

What the customer actually felt

"Expensive, sure. But I couldn't tell you what it stands for."

One decision travels further than you think

Watch a single choice move through every touchpoint.

A name, a policy, a single line of copy — it doesn't stay in one place.

The name
The look
The space or product
The campaign
The digital presence
The customer
Proof, in one decision — this one happens to be a menu

The mechanism is the same for a product label, a tagline, or a founder's one good idea getting flattened by committee.

A price-list line
Golden-Crusted Bombay Duck

Accurate. Forgettable. Says nothing about who's eating it or why they'd choose it over the six other fried things on the page.

What Synapse noticed
Bombil isn't a cuisine term. It's a Bombay word — nostalgic, specific, owned.

The dish already had an identity. The menu just hadn't given it permission to use it.

What it became
Bombil Bhaji Fry — "Bombil ka crispy comeback."

One word swap, one line of voice. Same kitchen, same plate. A completely different reason to order it.

What came back
Guests started asking for it by name — not "the fried fish one."

That's the whole job, at the smallest possible scale. Multiply it by eighty dishes, and it becomes a brand nobody has to explain twice.

Everything above is how Synapse thinks.
What follows is where that thinking has already worked.

Proof, not a promise — one world, among others
Seahorse
The Seafood Place — Kalyani Nagar, Pune. Built before the doors opened, not after.

"Who is this crazy person who came up with these names?"

Said during the Zomato District shoot, Pune

01Zomato District feature

One kitchen. Three coastal traditions. A menu voice built before the doors opened.

The order things actually happen in

Six moves. No vague slides, no workshop energy.

1

Understand

We sit with you until the pitch drops and the real answer shows up.

2

Diagnose

Every touchpoint you have, pulled apart in the open. Comfortable, it is not.

3

Align

One foundation gets built. Every decision after this either passes through it, or it doesn't happen.

4

Build

Names, copy, briefs, pitches — written, not outlined for someone else to finish.

5

Guide

Nothing ships without a filter. That filter is us, and it's ruthless on purpose.

6

Refine

What's working gets sharpened. What isn't gets told to you plainly, not softened.

The person behind the work
Deveshree Shinde
Founder & Brand Strategist

My career moved through fashion, editorial, retail and digital marketing before it moved through hospitality. Stylist, editor, marketer, founder — different seats, same table.

Every role solved a different problem. But the customer never experienced those roles separately — they experienced one brand. That's the gap Synapse exists to close, in any room that serves people.

Most brands find out who they are by accident. Yours doesn't have to.
